A lesson of patient and imam Jafir e Sadiq (a.s)

Reading Time: 2 minutes
“The only son of an indigent woman had gone on a journey which had transformed into a protracted one.
“Extremely worried” she” approached to the grandson of Noble Prophet Muhammad (saaww) imam Jafir as Sadiq (a.s) and complained :-
My son has been away on a journey which has turned to the very long one and I’m terribly distressed.
The imam Jafir as Sadiq (a.s) said:- be patient and control yourself.
The lady left but after having waited for the few more days and with no sign of her her son’s arrival she wasn’t able to take it any more and so approached to the Imam Sadiq (a.s) again she said :-
My son has still not returned what should i do??
“The imam said to her : did i not advise to you be patient and exhibit fortitude.
She lamented by( ALLAH) swt i have reached my limit of patient and do not possess the strength to bear this aspiration any more.
Imam Jafir as Sadiq (a.s) said to her: return home your your son has arrived.
Confounded she returned to her house only to find her son back from his journey.
Even as she was overjoyed at seeing him!! She thought to himself how did imam know that he had returned.?
Does revelation descend upon him? Let me go to ask Him about this issue.
Approached the Imam Jafir as Sadiq (a.s) she asked : jus as you had informed me my son has returned from his January but Moula tell me do you receive revelation that you were able to inform me of the unseen.?
Imam Jafir as Sadiq (a.s) said: I deducted this one of the traditions of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (saaww) He had said:
عند فناء الصبر یاتی الفرج
When man’s patient reaches it’s end eas and relief in sets in upon him,
When I observed that your patient your patient has reached its termination I realized the relief had arrived and my dedication proved to be correct.
