Forsaking salawaat is the cause of distance from mercy and blessings of Allah (s.w.t.)

Reading Time: < 1 minute

One day the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) put his foot on the first
step of the pulpit and said “Ameen!” He repeated this on the
second and third step as well.
The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) explained that his “Ameen” was in
response to the prayers of Jibrael.
At the first step Jibrael prayed that Allah should not forgive the
child who receives the bounty of parents, yet is negligent of his duty to them which is a cause for his forgiveness. The Holy
Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said “Ameen!”
At the second step Jibrael prayed that Allah should consign to
Hell the one who hears your name but does not recite Salawaat
upon you. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said “Ameen!”
At the third step Jibrael prayed that Allah should deprive a
person of His Mercy who receives the days of the month of
Ramazan and the nights of Qadr, yet his sins remain
unforgiven. The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said “Ameen!”
