Writing S.a.w.a. after the name of Holy Prophet s.a.w.a

Reading Time: < 1 minute

A tradition is reported that some people saw Fazl Kindi in their
dream after his death. In the dream they asked him to narrate
what transpired with him after death. He replied that due to one
action of mine, which I used to perform with one finger and
my thumb, Allah forgave my sins and granted me a high
position. They asked, what is that action? He replied, I used to
write the words – Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam
(s.a.w.a.) too many times.
In a similar vein, it is reported that another person replied that
when my deeds were weighed then all the salawaat which I had
written were placed on one side due to which the side of good
deeds became heavier than my sins and hence my sins were
forgiven.
A scholar from Ahle Sunnat says that I saw Sheikh Hasan
Ghita in my dream after his death. I saw that his fingers were
shining. I asked him the reason for the same and he replied –
this is the reward for one of my actions that whenever I wrote
the name of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.), I used to also write –
Sallallaho Alaihe Wa Aalehi Wa Sallam (s.a.w.a.)
